In the aforementioned context, looking at what al-Dhahabi was speaking about the hadith as well as the people that he was being critical of, it is clear that the hadith was indeed authentic. Al-Dhahabi is not mentioning who practices this hadith (or its alternative) as well as that this hadith is widely practiced, but he only mentions that the hadith is among those narrators that is accepted by al-Bukhr or among those narrators that he quoted in the Mustadrak. Therefore, the issue of who is practicing this hadith is not part of his argument, not that he is aware of the transmission history of the hadith, nor that he is aware of who the Hawwas are and who the Hakawat are.
Al-Dhahabi also speaks about those narrators who largely practiced the hadith, but he still seems to be considering the authenticity of the hadith. Accordingly, he is saying that al-Bukhr does not accept the narration of al-Zuhri from Malik (as it is quoted in Ibn Hibban's Talkhs), citing the reason that the narrator and narratee of the hadith are a minor figure. He also speaks about Bulahr ad-Duhaibireh, who he claims is also a narrator that al-Bukhr also accepts.
This means that his criticism can be added to the list of four varieties of criticism. However, if there is something that we may say about this issue, it is that the issue is a misinterpretation in relation to what al-Dhahabi meant by this wording.
Hajar commented on the Palm text, the printed text, and the manuscripts of Al Mustadrak, Al-Hakim at-Tahawi (who also said it was \"fabricated\"), Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, Shu'bah ibn al-Ajda', and Abu Hurayrah. All of them concurred that the stories narrated were îmam 003al-Sharér Pdf which are developed from the narrations of the closest companions of the Prophet. 7211a4ac4a
